Modeling the climate system requires not only high-performance
supercomputers. A single run of a coupled atmosphere-ocean general
circulation model can produce gigabytes of data. To analyze and
visualize these data, computer facilities are needed to serve
researchers' various needs. Our system consists of networks connected
to the supercomputer at the Computer Centre of the university, a mass
storage server, file servers, media servers, an FTP and HTTP server,
and a number of workstations.
