The international workshop on High-resolution and Cloud Modeling (Kusatsu2006 workshop) will be held October 3-5, 2006 in Kusatsu.

This workshop is intended to promote collaborations between satellite observations and high-resolution modeling (CloudSat/CALIPSO & GCRM/MMF/GCM), and is to be held as a part of our global cloud resolving modeling activity at CCSR/FRCGC (CREST-GCRM). We invite researchers who are interested in following topics:
High-resolution atmospheric general circulation modeling Cloud & meso-scale modeling Satellite observations of cloud and precipitation system Analysis studies of cloud and precipitation system Fusion of Satellite observations and high-resolution modeling
